Insuretech is white hot in the US these days, but how about the rest of the world? In a new report, the Omidyar Network sets out to answer that question and asserts that the same technological advancements that have served the world’s underbanked could also benefits the world’s underinsured. To amplify its point, Omidyar commissioned an “attitudinal, quick-response survey” comparing consumers in Kenya, Indonesia, Brazil and the US. Its findings: when it comes to receptivity to product innovation, Kenyans lead the pack.
